Everybody has their own reasons for tinting their vehicle.

One of the primary reasons for having a vehicle tinted is hiding its interior from prying eyes. Indeed, you will certainly agree that driving in an aquarium-like vehicle is not very pleasant. On the street, people pry into the car, see what you are doing, who you are with, and what there is inside your car. You will be feeling comfortable in a tinted car, like you were at home or in your office, and the items left inside the vehicle will not be exposed to everyone. Nevertheless, the tinted glass will not prevent your or your passengers from seeing what is going on outside the vehicle.

Another reasons for having a tinted car is improvement of its appearance because a tinted vehicle looks more reputable, more prestigious, and nicer. In addition to all the advantages they offer, tinting films have an additional benefit, i.e., they can be in various colours. Largely, the colour has no essential technical benefits. The colour of the film will have more of an image-impacting role.

Another equally important reasons for having a tinted car is protection of the interior from ultraviolet radiation and sunlight. The application of a film on the glass of a vehicle lower the temperature in the interior to make your ride more comfortable and also lower the load on the air conditioning system.

As to ultraviolet radiation, it may cause irreversible damage not only to the interior of your vehicle, but also human skin. The film forms a protective layer which blocks up to 99% of the UV rays to protect the interior of your vehicle from discolouration and your passengers from exposure to UV radiation.

On top of that, tinting films have protective properties. In case of an accident, the tempered side and rear windshields break into small fragments as a rule, and they may become disastrous. Therefore, if the glass has a protective film, an impact or a small stone thrown up by a vehicle driving in the opposite direction will break it, but keep the glass fragments attached to the film, so that they are not scattered around the interior to cause injuries.
